Legacy Exploration, LLC Announces Hat Sponsorship of LPGA Player, Katie Burnett

​On the heels of the best finish of her career, Katie Burnett held a highly anticipated “Meet & Greet” with local DFW fans and supporters.   The event was sponsored and organized by Legacy Exploration at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Dallas, Texas. 

Ms. Burnett held an intimate practice session followed by a candid Q&A session with her fans.  Attendees were also treated to some short game tips, custom autographed ball markers, and #TeamBurnett gear.

It turned out to be an evening to recharge the batteries for Team Burnett and her supporters.  Ms. Burnett proceeded to make the cut and a T37 finish at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout the following weekend.  This was her 5th made cut of the season and currently ranks 30th on the LPGA Tour Money List.

Legacy Exploration, LLC announced at the meet and greet that it would expand its sponsorship of the LPGA tour player to include a hat sponsorship.

About Katie Burnett

Katie turned professional in June of 2012, gained full status on the Ladies European Tour, and partial status on the LPGA in December for the 2013 season. Once halfway through the year on the LPGA, she earned full status and finished that season in the top 100 on the money list. Katie played in 7 events on the Ladies European Tour with finishes in the Top 5 three times and ended that season in the Top 40 on the money list.

When Katie turned professional in June of 2012 she won her first professional event, Michigan Women’s Open, by 10 strokes. Katie also qualified for the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open at Black Wolf Run. Katie was the winner of the Second Stage of LPGA Qualifying School by six strokes shooting 15 under par. She also competed in the Ladies European Tour Qualifying School and finished in 9th place.

In 2014, her first full season on the LPGA Tour, Katie earned her first Top 10 finish in Hawaii at the Lotte Championship.
